2. How do we assure the quality?
Answer: certification according to ISO9001, introduction of European quality control system and standards, every step will be monitored and validated prior slipping to the next phase.

3. How safe is the continuity of our company?
Answer: Designeast is co-operating with companies in USA, England, German and mainland china for over 4 years.

4. How long is the lead time from tool making until tool part available?
Answer:3-6 weeks.

5. How is our communication working?
Answer: Our office staffs has good English skill, the main engineers worked in the Europe or USA company for several years, who can fluently in English for all the engineering details

6. How we can make sure our trade secrets not be disclosed?
Answer: We will sign the non-disclosure agreement with you, if not get your kindly approval, none of your design and company information can be disclosed to the third part, If your trade secrets was found disclosed by us, we will bear the legal responsibility.

7. What is your standard warranty for tooling?
Answer: Designeast warrants the quality, workmanship and materials used in producing molds for a period of 180 days or 250,000 cycles, whichever occurs first, from the date of production. Designeast will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace all parts determined to be defective as to quality, workmanship or materials. Warranty of parts replacement or repairs at Designeast 's factory, or by an independent repair shop hired by Designeast. The customer is solely responsible for product design, design specifications and design approval, No warranty is provided concerning the design of the product.

8. What is your standard warranty for molding?
Answer: Designeast warrants the molded products it produces to client design specifications to be free of defects in quality, workmanship and materials for a period of three months from the shipment date and will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace products determined to be defective. This warranty shall not apply to breakage caused by product misuse. Designeast does not warrant the customer design or product defects or failure arising from customer design or design-related issues.

9. What are your standard payment terms for tooling?
Answer: We request a 50% deposit with your order. 30% payment is due after approved samples and the 20% balance after first batch of production. The freight amount will be invoiced in full after T1 sampling, and is payable prior to mold shipment.

10. What are your standard payment terms for molding?
Answer: Standard terms for molding are a 50% deposit with order and the 50% balance is due 10 days in receipt of the goods, including all freight costs.

11. How do you pack and ship the mould?
Answer: When the mould has been completed, The grease will be painted on the surface, then be packed with plastic pellicle, finally it will be fixed in the steel box, Accessories will be attached with the mould also, there are: a. Mould drawing in A1 format; b. Related electrodes; c. Ring bolts; d. Material certification; e. Mold lock sets and other necessary accessories.

1. Mould Making
A good design is the heart of a mold, therefore DESIGNEAST pay special attention to the mould construction, cooling channels and moving mechanisms to ensure the high quality parts are produced from its mold at the minimum cycle time, all molds are carefully designed to maximize its service life and to ease maintenance.
DESIGNEAST build tools from single to 32 cavities incorporating multiple slides and lifters, multiple hydraulic core pulls or unscrewing mechanisms, dozens of interchangeable inserts, numerous ribs and shutoffs with demanding requirements for appearance and dimensional accuracy. Our project managers co-operate closely with our customers on all aspects of the programs so as to develop the best designed moulds with short lead-time at competitive price meeting tough CPK values.
DESIGNEAST has a high degree of in-process control on mold manufacturing and final mold qualification, every step of the process was monitored and validated before slipping to the next phase, equiped with in-house mold trial injection machines, DESIGNEAST ensure its molds will be delivered with high quality.

4. Project Management
For each project, One qualified project manager will be assigned to take charge of it. Who will report directly to the general manager and supervising the whole procedure from start to finish, this include project evaluation, mould design, design evaluation, fabricating, testing, verification, confirmation, production, as well as the package checking, a project meeting will be hold every week to review the progress, The project plan will be updated and distributed to each department followed.
It is the project manager's responsibility to report any problem that may occur during the process to our customer directly. Furthermore a weekly report is expected from him, which provides to our customer with updated information concerning the project.
